All users who own an NFT on IMVU will be able to resell their NFT for VCOIN. There may be some restrictions on countries and US states where VCOIN can be purchased or withdrawn. See full list here. 

All users can send VCOIN, receive VCOIN, and convert VCOIN to Credits. All users who can purchase VCOIN can purchase NFTs on IMVU. VCOIN earned through Gigs or gifted by friends can be used to purchase NFTs on IMVU.

NFTs on IMVU have launched on IMVU Mobile and IMVU Desktop Beta. We’ve released around 100 unique NFT Exclusives made by IMVU Creators, which you can buy and resell right in the Shop here. Themes include Club, Play, Future, and more. 

Stay tuned for new Limited Edition NFTs, which we’ll announce on Instagram and Discover. A broader rollout allowing more Creators to make NFTs on IMVU is also coming soon.

NFTs on IMVU are first created by IMVU Creators and submitted to the Shop. You can buy and resell NFTs on IMVU through the Shop and in Live Rooms.

NFTs on IMVU can be listed in the Shop at a fixed price. Buyers can purchase NFTs on IMVU from the Shop or directly from you if you are in a Live Room and are wearing your NFT on IMVU. After the NFT on IMVU is sold, the reseller is charged a small listing, transaction, and royalty fee in VCOIN based on the sale price. 

You will receive a confirmation message, receipt in your VCOIN wallet, and a message once your NFT on IMVU has been resold. You will also be able to track your NFTs on IMVU transactions in your VCOIN Wallet.

NFTs on IMVU from IMVU’s previous collaboration with SHOES 54035 are currently not resellable.

You can review the sales history of an NFT on IMVU to see previous prices that it was sold for. The minimum price for NFTs on IMVU is 250 VCOIN ($1 USD). You can also view prices of other NFTs on IMVU in the Shop. Lastly, you can change the price of NFTs on IMVU that you listed for sale.

Just like any collectible item, the scarcity and variable demand for NFTs on IMVU will mean that the prices may change. It depends entirely on what the current owner chooses to set as the price and what is considered reasonable by the buyer.

Just because someone lists an NFT on IMVU at a certain price does not indicate that its value is that price.

You can delist your NFT on IMVU from the Shop at any point by clicking Remove. However, that item will still be visible in the Shop as a not listed item. 

You can resell as many NFTs as you own on IMVU, but you can only resell one NFT Exclusive or Limited Edition NFT per transaction. 

Although Limited Edition NFTs have a total quantity greater than one, you can only own and resell one Limited Edition NFT at a time.

Resellers earn VCOIN when they resell an NFT on IMVU. Sellers get 70% of the sale price and Creators earn part of the royalty for each secondary sale. 

For example, if you resell an NFT on IMVU for 1,000 VCOIN, you would earn 700 VCOIN and pay 300 VCOIN in fees.

Similar to our current Shop and other online marketplaces, we have standard fees that go towards the listing, transaction, and royalty fee for NFTs on IMVU. See below for an explanation of each fee.

• The listing fee helps prevent the Shop from being flooded with items which would make it harder for your NFT on IMVU to get attention and sell. 

The transaction fee covers the cost for payment processing and third party fees to our partners Uphold and Immutable X.

The royalty fee goes to the original IMVU Creator of the NFT and is distributed to Creators along the derivation chain if applicable. It also covers the cost of the Creator tools for NFTs on IMVU.
