NFT Exclusives are secured by the blockchain, which is an unchangeable record of transactions. This means that anyone can easily see that your NFT Exclusives are owned by you and you alone.

In addition, the files are hosted on IPFS, a decentralized file-hosting service built to last. Meaning that even in the unlikely event that IMVU goes down, your files will still be yours and accessible.

NFT Exclusives on IMVU are easy to distinguish from regular items. NFT Exclusives will be in the NFT Exclusives category in the Shop, marked with the specialized NFT Exclusives badge, priced in VCOIN, and there will be a confirmation screen before purchase that will validate that the item is an NFT Exclusive.

NFT Exclusives that you buy on IMVU will remain in your inventory until you resell them. Make sure you look for the NFT Exclusives badge in the item photo and the checkout process to ensure that the item you are buying is an NFT Exclusives.

We value your security, and want to ensure the highest quality of protection for your account. Therefore, for any transactions involving VCOIN, we require two-factor authentication. Learn how to set it up here.

All users who can purchase VCOIN can purchase, resell, and create NFT Exclusives with VCOIN. There may be some restrictions on countries and US states where VCOIN can be purchased or withdrawn (see full list here). Currently, anyone under 18 years old cannot withdraw VCOIN or transfer NFT Exclusives off platform until they are of legal age.

However, all users can send VCOIN to others, receive VCOIN from others, or convert VCOIN to Credits. VCOIN earned through Gigs or gifted by friends can be used to purchase NFTs Exclusives.

In the event that your IMVU account is hacked, we will follow the standard IMVU account recovery procedures.

In the event that your wallet is hacked and NFT Exclusives are removed, we will also conduct a thorough investigation where we may be able to revoke the use or sale of the NFT Exclusive on IMVU’s platforms.

If your IMVU account is banned or deleted, your NFT Exclusives will remain in the wallet associated with it. If you have trouble locating your wallet’s address, please contact customer support.
